1. drill in Anwar
2. sell the carabou meat to Putin
3. drill off the coast of FL
4. erect wind farms in every nook and cranny imaginable including Ted Kennedy's backyard
5. build refineries in Mexico in exchange for a guest worker program
6. play nice with the idiot Chavez to get him to increase production
7. stop subsizing corn stock that is used to make ethanol
8. double the # of solar power stations in the Mojave Desert
9. extract the shale oil by hook or crook even if it means flattening Mt Rushmore
10. bring another nuclear power plant on stream somewhere
11. eliminate the coal-burning power plants asap
Note: what is often lost in the discussion about US consumption of fossil fuels is that much of the electricity generated in our great nation still comes from coal or natural gas-burning furnaces that generate steam to turn turbines. That natural gas is most often an oil extract also. We are facing an impending natural gas crisis as well.
Both McCain and Obama had better speak to this crisis real soon in concrete terms.

I've adopted Pal Joey's stance and choose only to buy into polls that support my views, so CNN's map is clearly flawed.
It's really the only way to go. That way you can be happy and optimistic for an entire election season.
Then, on Election Night, when the returns come in and your candidate loses, you can say the election was obviously rigged.
Don't worry, be happy! Obama is a SHOO-IN!
