You are not getting the part with answering the question as a contestant. Did you hear the response to the girl who was asked about the bailouts? You are representing your state and YOUR PERSONAL Opinions should not be mentioned. She was asked as Miss California NOT Carrie Prejean.If you do not understand the rules or guidelines regarding the pageant,you should not open a debate about a subject you are totally ignorant towards. They have coaches who ask them these questions so they are prepared. The bimbo just could not pass up preaching her beliefs to the world.

You will not get it and continue to bitch and moan because you are as blank as a fart when it comes to this.How do you justify her speaking out against gay marriage now? Her numerous appearances and anti gay views?

You are Angry because Gay people are taking offense to a woman who says we do not deserve the same rights as she does. You have some nerve. Go away and don't ever come back!

There needs to be a Godwins-esque internet law wherein your opinion becomes invalid the second you desperately whine "This isn't English class!!!"

It doesn't matter whether you're saying crack smoking = homosexuality. It matters that the analogy is poor, offensive, and inapplicable. Regardless of your intentions. Communicating effectively is the only way to convince people your opinion is worthwhile. AndAllThatJazz22 must just relate to Miss Prejean because they're both incapable of sensible and level headed communication.

We live in a land where you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage and you know what, in my country and in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised and I think it should be between a man and a woman."

It seemed like she was going to answer the question, but she didn't. She said nothing about individual states. She just stated her opinion on the subject matter. The correct answer for her opinion would have been that it's up the voters in individual states to choose what they want for where they live. That's what makes America so great.
