You are not getting the part with answering the question as a contestant. Did you hear the response to the girl who was asked about the bailouts? You are representing your state and YOUR PERSONAL Opinions should not be mentioned. She was asked as Miss California NOT Carrie Prejean.If you do not understand the rules or guidelines regarding the pageant,you should not open a debate about a subject you are totally ignorant towards. They have coaches who ask them these questions so they are prepared. The bimbo just could not pass up preaching her beliefs to the world.

You will not get it and continue to bitch and moan because you are as blank as a fart when it comes to this.How do you justify her speaking out against gay marriage now? Her numerous appearances and anti gay views?

I've only been discussing how she has been treated unfairly on her opinion of gay marriage. You still continue to bitch even though I've CLEARLY stated that I disagree with her opinion. So if she comes out and says, 'I do not like Batman', are all of us Batman fans going to treat her like this?

So, why are you not more upset? Why defend a woman who is telling the world she is better than you?She is saying you do not deserve the same rights she has. If that is her opinion, fine but her personal opinion should not have come up.

It was not just her opinion! Do you understand the part about giving a divisive answer? Do you understand the part where I said she was asked as Miss California and NOT Carie Prejean? Did you hear the other contestant's answers to their questions? Nod once for yes and twice for no. Seriously, if I throw a stick will you go away?

There needs to be a Godwins-esque internet law wherein your opinion becomes invalid the second you desperately whine "This isn't English class!!!"

It doesn't matter whether you're saying crack smoking = homosexuality. It matters that the analogy is poor, offensive, and inapplicable. Regardless of your intentions. Communicating effectively is the only way to convince people your opinion is worthwhile. AndAllThatJazz22 must just relate to Miss Prejean because they're both incapable of sensible and level headed communication.

"Well, I think it's great that American's are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage and you know what, in my country and in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised and I think it should be between a man and a woman."

It seemed like she was going to answer the question, but she didn't. She said nothing about individual states. She just stated her opinion on the subject matter. The correct answer for her opinion would have been that it's up the voters in individual states to choose what they want for where they live. That's what makes America so great.

So why isn't everyone getting worked up about OTHER contestants that answered with THEIR opinion. Surely there's at least ONE other contestant in the history of Miss AMerica that asnwered with their opinion

Carrie's parents filed for divorce in 1988 and the divorce and custody fights went on for more than a decade -- it was a divorce filled with homosexual allegations hurled by both sides.

In one of the docs, Carrie's dad describes a confrontation he had with her mom in 1996, in which he recounts an argument in a restaurant parking lot, where "Ms. Prejean accused me, in front of our daughter, of homosexuality."

The papers also quote a court-appointed doctor who said "The mother questioned [within hearing of the girls] whether [her father] was a homosexual or had a homosexual roommate."

Carrie's mom says the "gay" allegations went both ways. In court papers dated May 16, 2000, a report from the court-appointed counselor says "The mother also alleges the father told the girls their stepfather was gay, that all men with mustaches are gay." The father's response: "The father acknowledges talking with the girls about the stepfather's brother being gay, not the stepfather."

Launch PhotosAlso in the docs -- a handwritten letter from Carrie's older sister, in which she recounts a weekend stay with her dad: "One time my sister & I went in the hallway of my dad's apartment, & his roommate's door was open all the way & we saw [the roommate] in bed with another man. I don't think it's right for my sister & I to have to live that way."

I didn't give two ****s about Ms. Cali when she gave her opinion. I don't care what she believes. That's her business. But, when she decided to join forces with NOM and that heinous Maggie Gallagher, THAT'S when I gave a damn about her. When she started actively fighting to prevent MY equal rights, that became MY business.

And that's a very clear distinction for me about Obama. Assuming his opinion isn't just a political stance that ALL White House hopefuls HAD to hold, he and Ms. Cali may have the same opinion, but one is working to fight my equal civil rights and the other is not.
