I downloaded it a week ago (since it was released in Japan). I'm not sure how I feel about it. Some good songs... some not so good. I'm not a big fan of her doing the whole dance album thing, but it's growing on me. Check it out! I'm gonna go buy a copy today just to support her.

Thanks for the input...good to see she's putting some work out there, haven't heard much lately. I've always liked her work :]

Bump!
Parks, I find her later albums take a couple of spins. Sisters Of Avalon had to grow on me, but it ended up becoming one of my favorites in a few weeks.
I bought this from Itunes last night. I was unsure about her making an entire "dance music" record, but the results are great. I hope she does well with this.
Thanks for telling us about this.

I think Into The Nightlife should have been the first single, as opposed to Same Ol' Story. That is one of my least favorite songs on the CD :-/.
Parks, I totally agree (although I do love Same Ol Story). I really like this cd. I've had it on an endless loop with Donna Summer's new "Crayons" all day.
Donna Summer - oy. Don't even go there. I can't stop playing that album. It's consuming my life.
And I don't even like dance music.
Totally agree about the new Donna album.
I must now look into this new one of miss Lauper though...
I've only purchased three non-cast recording cd's this school year. (Dolly Parton, Donna Summer, and Britney Spears) I hope I can add this one to the list.
