grr! it happens every day! i try to get on the site and it says: JRUN CONNECTION FAILED or something like that. i can hardly ever get on! it sucks. is this happening to others?

Yes. Quite a bit lately. Between that and AOL crapping out on me, I can hardly enjoy this board.

There are several sever upgrades and tweaking that Rob is handling. These may be the reasons the site is sporadically inaccessible

I'm looking around for other options. Today, in a two hour period, I was bounced out of AOL four times. When it happens, it toally shuts down my computer. When I sign back on, it says "Updating AOL database" which tells me they are screwing around with it.

ugh, i hate AOL w/ a passion. i have AIM and use either Outlook (pay) or hotmail (FREE!) hotmail or yahoo are good options

yeah, i've been getting it a lot today. it was really sad to have that "service error" pop up after i had typed out a HUGE post.

but it's workin fine now (fingers crossed)

It is a bummer when the site goes down. So one way to stay in touch is get the e-mails of the folks you just HAVE to stay in contact with. That has saved me from going even more insane.

It happens even more while all of you guys are sleeping. You don't know how many times I get up in the morning (when it's about 3 or 4 NY time) and try to access the site, and it doesn't work.

It's happening so often lately!

argh!
