How would he know anything about what a 'real man' is or isn't?

My brother-in-law (de facto) once tried to have a business meeting with him and a couple of his cronies. Three times Mr. Gest interrupted him out-of-the-blue to say, "You're not Jewish, are you?" After the third reply of, "No, I'm not" - and a follow-up on the third time with, "Is this a problem?" - Mr. Gest simply wouldn't say another word, and eventually just got up and left, never to be heard from again.

Yeah I have to wonder about that too. Mainly because MJ was always portrayed as being fearful of germs. I just can't see him sitting around an IHOP.

Maybe the waitress smacked him because:

A. the waitress could have been a foreigner
B. she really knew who Jackson was and smacked him because she thought he was hurting children
C. she was trying to see if that face would crack
D. Jackson was drugged out and she was trying to revive him.
