The creepiest child star was Raven Simone from The Cosby Show. I don't have cable, but was watching The Disney Channel at my sisters house with my nephews and learned that she has her OWN DISNEY TV SHOW! Now she's frightening me ten years later as an adult.

Raven Simone was an adorable little girl.

Dakota Fanning does scare me. Her sister looks exactly like her. If her sister plays her cards right, she could have a correct by just playing thee younger version of Dakota's characters!

Raven actually makes me laugh. Well her little busty friend, what's her name? Chelsea. ha.

but she was scary on Cosby. The nerd blond boy from Punky Brewster was nerd scary. And an episode with a cave and a floating indian axe or something.

Dakota Fanning could act circles around many of the actors in Hollywood. I do admit, she does tend to get a lot of roles, but I think she deserves them. I have never seen a bad performance from that pint-sized stick of acting dynamite!

She is a little scary, but not as scary as the kid who played Damien in The Omen. Or that kid who does the Welsh Grape Juice commercials. I want to die when that horrid little face comes on.

She was on David Letterman a few years ago to promote "I Am Sam" That interview was really scary. She had no front teeth and she kept manically laughing during the whole interview. If they ever do a Rosemary's Baby sequel, "Rosemary's Teenager" she'd be perfect casting.

She was on Ellen promoting "Man on Fire" some months ago, and did the non-stop maniacal laugh then too, so she hasn't grown out of it. She also spent a lot of time jumping around the set.

But she doesn't scare me near as much as that freaky Haley Joel Osment. And I don't mean onscreen. That kid is just not right.

you know who isn't right- Cameron Bright.
THAT kid is creepy. he was the child in Godsend and the deranged brother of Amy Smart's childhood character in the Butterfly Effect (picture him pulling off a doll's head).
I worked with him on the set of Godsend- and let me tell you- he is a nice boy but the creepiness is there in full effect on and off screen.

I thought Dakota was great in Taken and really funny in Uptown girls. I don't know if she's a great actress, or just scary in real life. Do you reckon she's a normal kid (ignoring the manical laugh), or very screwed up?

I have to say that she's nutty, but at least seemed like a kid. She didn't sit primly with her hands in her lap discussing world events or the college courses she's taking, which is always refreshing in a child actor.

Uh...yeah I saw her on some news show but instead of laughing like a maniac she was like "Yes, I was very intrigued by the filming process, I found Mr. Washington was a fantastic role model for me, and one of the most poignant actors I have ever come across." I was thoroughly creeped out by her big words and serious demeanor. She seems like she would be screwed up majorly!

Hallie Eisenberg was also in THE WOMEN at Roundabout. They did a curtain call where the entire cast came out in skimpy lingerie and strutted like fashion models to the strains of that song "You're Unbelieveable". Little Hallie Eisenberg strutting in a teddy was quite disturbing - maybe even more disturbing than Rue McClanahan!
