She could not have been more annoying in "War of the Worlds" if she had spent the film dragging a rake across a chalkboard. Her screaming was like a dentist's drill. In the moment where it looks as if she'd been killed by aliens I reflexively yelled "FINALLY!"

It will be a cold day in hell before I sit through another Dakota Fanning shriekfest.
