Hey, does anyone here play the SUPER COOL game Dance Dance Revolution? I, sadly, am a DDR nerd. It's quite addicting. I play on Heavy now...anyone else? I wonder if anyone will respond with "That's just a game for people who can't really dance."

Oh, it's totally a game for people who can't dance (that's not to say that people who can dance don't play, but it gives those of us with zero dancing ability a chance to look even more stupid than we normally do dancing and get points for it!) I don't play very often, and I only play when I'm home (I'm in college now) and my brother wants to play, but I do enjoy it from time to time. And I suck. But it's fun.

Why do we play with fire? Why do we run our fingers through the flame? Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain? -tick...tick...BOOM!

What's really fun is when you go to dances and you start pretending to dance like you are playing DDR. Everyone thinks you are smoking something...and then they come ask you for some.

Haha, you know, I've never actually tried that. Interesting, maybe I will (I'll have to be heavily intoxicated, but we'll see...)

I used to be addicted to DDR. I have the REALLY nice mats to go with the game too. It is not only a fun game, but it gives you a nice work out. Sadly, I don't play anymore because I've been too busy.

Ahhh ddr!! I was with a bunch of friends yesterday playing ddr at a restaraunt. Actually I was watching, because even though I've been dancing for years I had a feeling I wouldn't be able to do it and I would make a fool out of myself, haha. But it was really funny watching it:)

Ways to annoy people: Arrive at a meeting late, say you're sorry, but you didn't have time for lunch, and you're going to be nibbling during the meeting. Then eat raw potatoes. Ask people what gender they are,or Disagree strongly with everything anybody says:)

ddr is SO much fun! I've only played it once at a friends house but it was completely addictive(and I also dance so it isn't necessarily a non dancer thing). Not to mention an excellent workout. re: Dance Dance Revolution anyone??

I love it I think it's great to play... it's tons of fun to have a DDR party. I first played it at the arcade place, and it's awesome to see the people who are really fast... the first time I did it, I made sure no one was around becuase this one kid was so fast it was insane.

I LOVE DDR!! It's so addicting!! I could play that for hours!! I've been dancing for years, so it came really easily to me. And it's SO fun.

DDR... one of my friends lived in the dorms last year, and right above him was a room where the two occupants played DDR at all hours of the night, every night. One night I'm in his room and from midnight on all we can hear is this goodnessawful "stompSTOMP-stompstompstomp-STOMPstompSTOMP" and it just didn't stop... I was there until 3 am and I'm saying to him, "Can't we go ask them to shut up?" to which he responds, "It's like that every night." The horror!

Haha...I brought it on to my cruise in December..I started playing it and my dad (who was next door to me) after about 10 seconds came over to tell me not to play anymore. I used to look at people on Light Mode and be like...WOAH how'd they do that?! And then I'd see people on Heavy and consider them to be some kind of God type figure..but after you've played it for a few months, it's really not that hard.

I have some friends who are the kinda people that hold mini tournaments at arcades and attract small crowds while playing. I'm pretty good but I prefer to watch.

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason

I love it! It's really fun. I can play on Standard, I cna only play Heavy on certain songs. It's almost as addicting as BWW, but not quite! =P

Ahaha, DDR is too Asian, even for me. re: Dance Dance Revolution anyone?? It's mesmerizing watching people who are really good at it at all those Chinese arcades and bubble tea cafes though. And kind of scary as well.

I like to watch my friends scamper around like monkeys, but come my turn, I sort of go stupid and can't figure out where to put my feet. But I know plenty of people who are worse than I am.

I was pretty good for a first-timer... and I think it's tons of fun. I admit though, the second time I did worse.

I one time asked my friend, "Hey, you like Japanese music??"
Haha-I sadly have some DDR music on my iPod. That's how cool Parks is. How is Karaoke Revolution? Is it really that much fun? I haven't heard that much about it..

i haven't played it before, but i assume it's like a karoake bar i've been to before... you sing against someone, and they grade you with percentage points. There are two microphones, and two people sing the same song into their own mic... and then they're graded...

Is that similar to Karoke Revolution?
