Besides Bloch on the Upper West Side, what stores have the best selections of dance and character shoes and where are they located?
I heard there was a good store at like 7th, 8th or 9th Ave & 40th Street. Anyone have name and address for that one, as well?

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.

Bloch is at about W. 74th - W. 75th and Columbus
Like their shoes and also their dance clothes
They give a 20% artist discount and have 50% off sales at times

Posted: 1/24/06 at 3:06pmI find capezio to have a good selection of their own brand and other brands, but it depends on the store...at least the one in L.A. only carried Capezio brand shoes. They also give a student discount from what I recall...
