My mom asked me if Lady Gaga was a man. LOL!
I still say my favorite season was season 2. It's crazy how close this one was though, considering I didn't know who Gilles was before this show.
I was a little shocked that Gilles didn't win, but Shawn and Mark where adorable when they won. Their reactions may have been worth it.
This is the first year that I barely watched. Usually there's at least one person on that I like but this year there just wasn't. The only time I watched was the night Celtic Woman performed and, even then, I didn't turn it on until late.
I was just at AOL reading some of the comments people are making about Shawn winning. Man, you'd think that their lives were ending because she won. They're going to boycott the show now. Why do people get this wound up over a television show like this? Couldn't that energy be put better use? Like a charity or something?
And, just for the record, Candace Cameron Bure on DWTS would go over about as well as a fart in church. She, along with her brother Kirk, have lost most of their likeability. They're born-again Christians and, like many born-agains, they will use any opportunity they have to preach. Imagine getting a sermon every week. She'd be gone so fast.
Jodie Sweetin, on the other hand, could work. She fell from grace when she found drugs but she has pulled herself out of the hole she dug and straighted out her life. The show could be a good opportunity for her.
I heard Nadia Comenci say that she wanted to be on the show. I think she would be great. Shawn is the 3rd Olympic athlete to win. I could see Marilu Henner for the "older" crowd. I still want to see Donny Osmond on it- he would be great! I wasn't a fan of Shawn's but I certainly wouldn't boycott the show. It's all about business and what the producers want to do- after all, ABC is owned by Disney and they love the wholesome "stars". I'd just like to see more well-known people join the show.
