I saw the first episode now... Do you know this show?
It IS good; even poor, puffy Mandy P. is bearable. Are there new episodes, or you are catching up? I thought the unwatchable "Huff" was still on.
No... It just started here in Israel today...
So it is the first season (are there any more??)

Two seasons finished and I don't think they are renewing.
Sorry to say...this was a good show...and no fair slamming Mandy in this thread. He is one of the best things about the show.
Sorry Sam--he's not a favorite of mine; I bought a couple of his Sondheim tracks from iTunes the other day--I had "finishing the hat" on my brain--and they were just incredibly bad. But he IS quite good on Dead Like Me.
I'm really bummed that it hasn't been renewed. Is that decision made or pending?
Dead Like Me has been cancelled.
The first season DVDs are gread - and I'm sure we can expect season 2 soon....
I'm really disappointed. I mean, I know it's just TV and all, but I was looking forward to new episodes.
I didn't know Dead Like Me was cancelled. It was good and I loved the cast. I like Huff though, why do you think it's unwatchable?
Visceral response to the "making of" show and the 1st episode; I couldn't connect with any of the characters. Odd, as I'm a fan of many of the players. I should probably give it another chance, but I'm also happy not to have another TV show in my life.
I used to watch it all the time - including the reruns...
But then I kept going out on Saturdays (?) and I got so off track I stopped watching. Now, I don't get the channel here at school...

DLM is cancelled?? That's unfortunate but understandably so.
I LOVED season one of the show, especially the first few episodes. The pilot is probably one of the best out there...with a good amount of humor and drama mixed together. I think the problem with the show though was because after the creator left, all the episodes got really melodramatic. George (or was it Georgia?) got some life lesson at the end of every single episode. The humor was basically gone. I haven't seen the second season though so I don't know if that changed or not.
Nonetheless, I LOVED LOVED Jasmine Guy as Roxy. She was hilarious! I especially loved the part in season one when she was telling Mason about wanting to get a parrot, because she heard a story about a parrot trying to save its owner. Hilarious.
Did anyone see the episode where Mandy P. remembers leaving his little girl (was her name Rosie?). Later he's with her in the nursing home and she's an old lady. A reaper touches her and then he's at her grave site. That was major creepy.
