You have to ask your friends that question. Die hard conservatives can't turn an election by themselves. And Fox News is the only station that will speak out against Obama. That leaves NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, NPR, NY Times, Air America, etc all giving Obama praise.

Perhaps people are waking up to what many of us knew before the election. When Obama is asked "When does life begin?" and he answers "That's above my pay grade" many of us knew he wasn't fit to be POTUS. I wouldn't have voted for Hillary, but she was 100 times better than Obama. Even Ann Coulter said she'd vote for Hillary.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Not necessarily. In two years, we will vote on POTUS. If the Republicans can keep up the message that Obama failed to bring down the unemployment numbers, people may be even more angry. To really turn the tide, the Democrats need to do something big. The first thing they should try is to get credit card interest as a tax deduction like it used to be in the 1970s.

The Republicans can still use the message "We tried to put through legislation but the Democrat controlled Senate and Obama shot us down."

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

So Obama is sinister because he didn't want to offer his opinion on when life begins? Is that it? If he hadn't said that, you'd be OK with him? What about that makes him sinister?

Um, isn't the reason there's no public option because the Republicans refused to vote for a bill with the p.o. in it? The Democrats (foolish though this was) wanted bipartisan support - to reach across the aisle, and the Republicans refused them. How are you now pinning this on the Democrats?

And yes, Fox does "speak out against Obama," but that's not exactly the same thing as presenting the news.

And anyone who thinks MSNBC doesn't 'speak out against Obama' must never watch MSNBC.

Oh, and by the way, my 23 year-old daughter just found out she's getting laid off. I will be able to add her to my health plan, thanks to the parts of the healthcare bill that have kicked in already.

As you well know, the legislation forces people to buy insurance whether they want to or not.

you do realize that, unfair as this provision seems, it was meant to address that fact that many individuals without insurance regularly use the ER. many of them do not pay for services rendered and are uninsured and don't qualify for medicare/aid. so when they don't pay, who do you imagine does? i can assure you that the money does not fall from the sky.
