"But Gonzales said the success of his fried Coke had inspired him. Next year's fair-goers can look forward to fried Sprite or -- for those watching their weight -- fried diet Coke."

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

When I worked at Chilis, I'd be amazed at how many people ordered the Awesome Blossom with a Diet Coke.
Might as well order a tall glass of grease.

Well, Coca-cola cake is really quite good, so I guess this would be the next step. I will pass, thank you.
Have you ever had a deep fried oreo? I had a bite of one once. They are DISGUSTING. People will fry anything.

At first I thought thought you were posting a Paula Deen recipe!
Honestly, this does not sound appetizing to me. But, hey if someone wants to eat this and there's a market for it - well, be my guest!

I love the idea of soaking mashed strawberries in Coke syrup and cherry syrup and deep frying it.
That just makes my teeth curl.
