However, Congress and the White House conveniently ignored the bill of attainder consideration when they de-funded ACORN. So, an organization that helps mostly minorities got railroaded by Fox News with totally baseless 'reporting', with the Dem controlled Congress and White House complicit.

This March a federal District Court ruled that the law Congress passed cutting off ACORN's federal funding was a bill of attainder, a type of law specifically prohibited by the Constitution because of the Founding Fathers' fear that a powerful and vindictive federal government could single out a single individual or organization for penalties.

That same month ACORN, abandoned by its former admirers and bankrupt from having to fight multiple politically inspired investigations, closed its offices.

I have decided that most of the GOP is only good at projecting what they would do to Democrats if given the chance.

What Obama has done - doesn't matter - what they fear he might do - well, that is reality.

I have never seen such a gullible group, who routinely allow themselves to be scared into voting against their own interests.

I just thought that since the Democrats felt they could tell Wall Street whether to give bonuses or not and how much to give that they would also take the initiative to withhold taxpayer money from a company that is destroying the water.

Take dip into right wing media- if that is all you listen to, you'd know Obama is seizing companies left & right, he's taking away your guns, if the supreme court doesn't overturn Arizona's immigration law he's disbanding the supreme court- last night Glen Beck said this fall Obama will no longer allow churches to give unapproved sermons.

And they BELIEVE this.
