re: democrats 2008 presidential nomination

Off the top of my head,i don't know but it is my moms opinion.
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

Hillary may be the top choice among Democrats, but she is probably the most hated woman in the country.

Evan Bayh is a good possibility.

Where the hell did this Barbara Boxer/Dick Durbin thing come from?

It's too soon for Obama. Give him at least his one full term in the senate.

Well, she'll have a lot more time as a Senator coming up. A recent poll showed her beating any Republican rival, including Rudy and Pataki. I wouldn't read to much into Pataki since, at this point, my three year old could beat him; but she's way ahead of "America's Mayor". YAY!

If indeed Hillary is nominated in '08, it will be because Howard Dean has imploded as chairman of the DNC (likely), and because the Republicans will have nominated Condoleeza Rice.

Best idea I have heard in ages

Dean can be referee & Rice & Hillary can take Howlin Howie & bury him in the mud

Rice will never win the Republican nomination.
I would certainly love to see America faced with the choice between Clinton and Rice, though.

re: democrats 2008 presidential nomination

I know people say this all the time and don't mean it, but I'm being serious: If Condi Rice is the next president, I'm moving far, far away.

Everybody, go and read Maureen Dowd's column from today, "Condi's French Twist".

Latifah/Treach 2016
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
