Posted: 5/22/07 at 9:58pmI have to agree about the Mrs. McClusky plotline. It should have lasted more than two episodes. They seemed to start a few stories this season then end them rather quickly. I was really interested in what they were planning to do with (I forget his name...) the child porn guy, but he only lasted a few episodes. He threatened Lynette so maybe they'll bring him back, who knows.

I doubt they'll bring him back. What happened seems like a big mess in the writer's room as well as some network intervention.
The main problem with the show, IMO, is that they started with a very interesting premise that was solved by the end of season 1 and they could never get audiences as interested in anything they came up with after that.
