I also see Gabrielle's husband's storyline playing out ala Jim McGreevey for some reason.
Edie will survive. DH loves jolts but never actually follows through in a true or satisfying way like Six Feet Under did. DH has some of the worst writers and the continuity is terrible. I give it one or 2 more seasons.
My reaction to the season finale was, ok, just by the fact as to where this season picked up after last seasons finale. Anything can happen. Also, who's to say that was even Edie? Yes, that was her scarf, but I don't believe we ever saw her do anything besides leave an envelope for Carlos.
SPOILER!!!!! Dottie, her feet were dangling from the ceiling and the chair was knocked over. Did you miss that :)

Meanwhile over on "ER", "where there's no finale like an 'ER' finale", Ray lost his legs in an accident and left town with his mother, a child was taken away from Tony Gates (John Stamos) and Neela was trampled (to death?) at a peace rally while while Tony ran to reach her. Also, the recently married Luka got on an airplane to visit his sick father on a day when there are indications that a terrorist attack on an airline may be coming. On top of all that, Stanley Tucci is now the head of the "ER".
DH last night was equally shockiing and boring, but I enjoyed it.
And as for ER, never watched an episode, never will, but the scariest thing about that whole paragraph for me was that there's a guy named Luka on that show. Ick.
Bettyboy, I saw that, but who's to say it was Edie (as they never showed her face making preparations). For all we know, it could have been Bree's daughter who hated being in the convent.

Geek, why is that scary?
I love Luka and think Goran Visijnic is gorgeous.
Maybe Edie will become the new narrator...
But didn't they pan to Edie's table from the shot of her feet. I dunno, anything is possible b/c the writers of the series like to convieniently forget things. For all we know it could be Lynette's mother or Julie who quickly ran home from the wedding distraught over her mother's wedding and hung herself. The writers are so bad.

I just think the pregnancy thing is such a stupid plot device. Danielle having to stay with the nuns, Bree faking a pregnancy to raise the kid. What is it, the '50s?

Why don't you start an ER Finale thread? You do this with Passions on the AMC thread all the time.

Bree and Edie are going to be related. That could be fun -- if Edie lives.
That could be fun. But if Edie lives, I don't think she would really care about the child. It's Austin's and he's gone.

That's right--I totally forgot about her nephew!

Because I'm trying to convert the poor souls who watch AMC, and DH, over to better shows like "Passions" and "ER". By the way, the birth control pill gimmick was done years ago on AMC by Miss Erica. She did the same thing to Jeff that Edie did to Carlos. Pretended to want to have a baby but took the pills instead.
I doubt if DH will be around too many more seasons. "ER" has been on since the early 1990's and will be back next year as well.
Since we know that everyone will find out about Danielle's baby actually being Danielle's, not Bree's, I can't wait to see what Julie does since she was sleeping with Austin at the same time.
Dottie-They showed the suicide note to Carlos. So I'm pretty sure it isn't Danielle.
I noticed that, too. Updated On: 5/21/07 at 01:10 PM
Holly, we just saw in envelope which said, "my beloved Carlos". When it comes to season finales, I tend to question everything, as they end up being big let-downs in the long run (especially when the new season picks up months after the fact).
I'm with you Dottie. For all we know the swinging pink dress could be a new character waiting to be introduced. The possibilities are endless.
I was shocked at the end, yet again, bored.
I flipped over to VH1 several times.
But overall, the last scene was crazy, I really hope Edie isnt dead and seeing as how Nicolette said on Regis and Kelly they begin work on Season 4 in like two weeks, she isn't dead.
Gabby and Carlos, knew it was coming.
Victor is a douche.
Loved Susan's wedding, simple yet very nice.
