"Dexter" star Michael C. Hall is undergoing treatment for cancer and the disease is in remission, a spokesman said.

The actor was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's immune system. The disease is considered highly treatable with the potential for full recovery.

I wish Michael C. Hall all the best during his recovery. A real underrated actor, and definitely a highlight as David in Six Feet Under and great as Dexter.

Great for him!

By the way, when did he and Amy Spanger split?

Wow, that explains his scary haircut featured after the Dexter finale...

My sister-in-law has the same thing and has been clear and healthy for five years... Wishing him the best.

Luckily for him, Hodgkin's Lymphoma is a disease that, when caught early, is completely and usually successfully treatable. I wish him nothing but the best.

Tom, Hall and Spanger divorced in 2006 and from what I heard (a friend of mine lives in what used to be their building) separated long before that.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

The chemo drugs used even in Early/Favourable NHL are pretty strong(toxic) and that's w/out concurrent radiation. He may e need to pace himself carefully and frankly exsesive stunts etc are just not feasable w/out serious repercutions.
But yes it has a good cure rate and I wish him to get well soon.

I had Hodkin's 30 years ago in high school! Thankfully- it is very treatable (but still scary) It's the disease they gave Lynette on Desperate Housewives. I also know Ricky Nelson's daughter Tracy had it and so did Barry Watson of 7th Heaven and Samantha Who. Here's wishing for a speedy recovery!

"By the way, when did he and Amy Spanger split?"

I believe that was when he abandoned her for his co-star (who plays his sister) on Dexter.
