My friend has been trying to join the board for a few days now. She's tried with two different emails, and she doesn't receive the email to confirm her membership. She has checked her spam/junk folders and everything.
I tried to make an inquiry about this, but received no response.
Anyone know? Did they stop accepting new members?
Try an email NOT identical to the other 2.

Maybe you could try creating the account for her and then changing the e-mail address?
My niece joined recently and she didn't get an email either. She was still a member though. (It's been a long time, but I don't remember getting an email when I joined either.)

BWW still accepts members, it's just that you now have to take a written exam to gain admission.
The exam is rather easy, you just have to write essays on Lynn Riggs, Marlyn Mason, Mary Jo Catlett and Mark Bramble. Oh yeah, there are a few multiple choice questions about WICKED. it's a breeze, really.
There really haven't been many new members at all lately-- not even spammers. I was kind of wondering about that.
Did Emma kill herself? She kind of worried me with her last posting.
They ran out of numbers to put after "defying gravity" and thus had to retire that screen name.
tell you frined to try "IdinasNumberOneFan". I think it's still avaialble.
not only has bww stopped accepting members, but soon they will begin culling the herd. you better watch your asses!
Wait, you're gonna cull whose ass, papa?
I just got the e-mail, papa.
My membership has been revoked.
I don't even know what I did. This is the saddest day of my life. I remember the first time I posted. I thought to myself, "O, wonder! How many goodly creatures are there here! How beauteous mankind is! O Broadway World that has such people in't!" And I said the same mantra to myself every day, as I watched Pal Joey's videos or read Jim Colyer's lyrics or guiltily laughed at Cruel_Sandwich threads or stuck a fork in Mr Roxy or had a joke of robbiej's go over my head. But nevermore shall I say it again, nevermore, nevermore...

Jim Colyer isn't going to like you quoting him without attribution.

the only thing that can be attributed to Jim Colyer is a bad case of the trots

Hey! Jim Colyer's magnum opus "I Looked Twice" is currently a part of Stella Foschetti's cabaret act at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Delmont, Virginia.
Why, who's Stella Foschetti? You art-hating philistine! PalJoey will be here any minute with a headshot and a clip of her singing "We Always Walk Arm in Arm" on the Martin Pinkeldolt Variety Hour with a young Lorna Luft.
StickToPriest, your posts usually amuse me more than the rest of the thread they're in put together. And honestly, I have no idea why.
I personally think that a sever screening process is a good idea during the summer.
we're starting with those who defiantly leave off final e's.
Have you guys tried messaging Rob or Craig on Facebook?
massaging rob and craig???? listen lady, i am not that desperate for an answer!
It's my own littl way of making of making a statment, papa.
Craig didn't answer the PM I sent him.
But my friend said one of the accounts work now, though she still never got the email. But all is good.
Whew!
I can finally sleep!
