Anyone go? How long were the lines for signup?
I went the first night. I'd estimate about 40-50 Equity and over 100 non-Eq.
Awesome. Thanks, Shbrt! So they did give Equity priority?
Yes, they did. The monitor was very nice. I had a really stupid day and forgot my headshot and resume, so I ran to a friend's house nearby to print them, and she stuck me right back in with a later group.
Very cool. So there was a monitor?
There's always a monitor - the person who runs the audition. Not an Equity monitor, though.
That's what I meant. Had a horrible time gettting there. Will never do the A train during rush hour again. Ended up turning around. Wanted to get there early to get a good spot. How early did you get there? How long was the line at the time?
Ah, gotcha. I got there around 6:00-6:10, and there were about 15 people ahead of me.
Cool. Let me know how it goes.
Here's hoping!
Were you going for a certain role?
Yup, Donna/Oolie and whatever else they wanted me for. Just got word I got a callback for Donna/Oolie. Yay! Only problem is that for the callback they want us to sing both lines of What You Don't Know About Women. Kill me.
Awesome! Congrats! You'll do fine.
Thanks. Will go over it with my coach.
