No, it wouldn't work, how would they do the jail and the court scenes? It would be just way too expensive.

Oh, I didn't think about that.

Also, they'd have to hire a bunch of real actors from the movies to play them...which can get expensive. I don't think it would work with a bunch of theatre actors. They're not really as good.

There are a lot of movies that I wonder if they made plays out of them.

Pal Joey
Oklahoma!
Flower Drum Song

They seem like they'd be good on stage...but with real movie actors.

Have you heard about a musical called Kiss of the Spider Woman?

Oh, that wouldn't work on stage either, it has a real jail, and other sets from Argentina, it would certainly fail on a theatre.

What about going the other way and turning musicals into movies!
I'm a big fan of horror movies, and I think this new musical Young Frankenstein looks like it could work as a movie.
....but the world goes 'round

No, Taz, it couldn't - look at that cast. They don't make movies. Maybe a TV movie.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
