Wow, I never realized the actor who played Prince Eric (and was in the Brady Bunch movies) was only 16 when he voiced him.

Great thread! Someone asked about using the actors as models--this was done a bit in the past but more often they hired other people (ie the future Marge Champion for Snow White). When Disney really started drawing their characters voiced around often recognizable voices--Jungle Book was probably the real first--a LOT of critics commented thatit seemed lazy. Of course now it's more common then ever (I don't mind except that I *hate* when a movie, like that recent non-Disney Rio uses the celebrity names to sell the movies in the trailer...)

I learned the other day that Betty Lou Gerson (Cruella in 'One Hundred and One Dalmatians' and the narrator of 'Cinderella') had a brief cameo in 'Mary Poppins'. You can see it here from 4:23 to 4:27.
