I was thrust into the position of 'mediator' when I was 14 years old. In the end, I have lost communication with the male participant - which isn't a bad thing.

If this really is an issue for you, get some help through it - as we have said to you on several occasions concerning several topics.

This is NOT the place to find your answers.

Do you still talk to them? Are your divorced parents still friendly with one another? Do you see them seperately more or do you see them more when they are together? Did the divorce destroy your relationship with them in any way?"

I don't talk to or see my dad, but that has more to do with him than with the divorce. And no, they aren't too friendly with each other

I'm NOT going to respond with what I'm sure others might - but you SERIOUSLY need to look at that statement, and think about what it means in your life.

I'm so sorry, Cruel. Like others have said . . . be there for your sister, because she will need a shoulder to cry on and someone to listen to her feelings. **HUGS**

Side note . . . I consider a couple of people on this board just as much of a friend than I have in "real life." I have told things to one or two individuals here that I have NEVER told any of my "real" friends before. Oh well . . .

Cruel, I am sorry this is happening but welcome to life. These things are going to rise up and smack you in the face from time to time, and how you handle is a measure of who you are.
It sounds like you may need some counseling.
Talking to others who have gone through, or are going through this is great......but get some local help.
