I definitely thing a badge/button type thing would be best.
That way you can wear it, but still be discreet if you're with friends and don't want to be wearing something out of the ordinary for every performance you attend.

Are talking a logo for a pin or a tattoo? I've gone 28 years without a tattoo, don't make me get one now. I'm still liking the gang sign idea, but we might need something slightly less obvious.
As much as it pains me to admit it, Rath is right. The "b" looks like you're just giving someone the "ok" sign.
