DollyPop......I can't respond to your post. You know that Namo is going to accuse me of trying to curry favor with you.

I really don't like curry. I tried it at an Indian restaurant once and became violently ill. The restaurant had been one of the Top Picks at Corine's Corner.
curry is wonderful in small doses

That's because you didn't wash it down with Diet Coke with Lime that is Divine.

That's the only drink served at Corine's Corner.

How could we incorporate a scene from FORBIDDEN BROADWAY into our musical?

I think we should give the Diet Coke with Lime a female persona all her own and let her perform a little strip number to:
Whatever Cola Wants...

Ah, yes!! That's the 11 o'clock number we've been hoping for. This will be performed by Corine, who is wearing her famous red sequined mumu and orthopedic go-go boots!

I also think we should have a number where Corine does some lap dancing. Your thoughts?

I think Yenta could write that part of the show, DP. It'd be called "Forbidden Boyfriends" since obviously she's projecting her frustration over your homosexuality onto Corine, who is just a gal with a goal: introducing folks to the best of the Big Apple.
Pizza Monster- I owe you a few pies.
Psst: If you need your hair done, you can get 20 percent off if you mention Corine's Corner. https://www.corinescorner.com/Beauty_and_Fashion_corner.htm

Holy crap, my hair is currently the longest it's been since the '80s. Back then I was trying for a Purple Rain curls drooping into my right eye thing. Now I just look disheveled and manly.
Thanks for the tip, Corine.

Just make sure that Corine's hairstylist isn't really Sweeney Todd.

Who could we contract to play Namo?
Broadway Legend Joined: 7/22/03
Stanley Tucci if nudity's involved, and by all rights it should be.
Broadway Legend Joined: 5/15/03
Of course there will be nudity. The full title of the show will be CORINE'S CORNER: THE NAKED TRUTH.
The lap dance will bring in the crowds; as will Namo's pole dance.
I met Tucci once on the street. He has a nice smile.
Personally, I see Namo being played by Alec Baldwin.
There will be no nudity. Not even puppet nudity.

Of course the theater will have to have a wine bar so that the audience can wine and whine during intermission.
Alec Baldwin is busy right now. How about his brother Billy?

Who will play Corine?
Broadway Legend Joined: 7/22/03
As Shakespeare wrote, Corine, "no nudes is bad news."
Obviously Corine will play herself.

Corine has considerable experience as an actress. Remember she boasted about how well-received her Juliet was. Of course that was 22 years ago and her posterior is now often mistaken for a caboose. Still, I think she can certainly pull this off.

We will open the show with a reconstruction of the actual Corine's Corner--the streetlight on 47th and 8th. There sits Corine on an upturned orange crate. She basks in the glow of her mother's applause and begins to sing:
"In my own little corner
On my own little crate
I can be whatever I want to be..."
Dollypop-
You are a wonderful publicist giving Corine all kinds of buzz! How nice of you. I like the Corner and hope to see you there sometime.
