I think this is my favorite episode of the entire season. Without a doubt.
Another amazing episode! But why did they make Pierce so damn mean tonight??

Danny Pudi (Abed) needs to get some love for his work on this show.
Pierce was so mean, and more than usual. I hope there is a resolution to his behavior in a later episode.
I did not want that episode to end! I don't even like D&D and the entire homage in the episode had my full attention. Annie as Hector the Well-Endowed...... OMG. Allison Brie and the writers have made her fearless this season.

as much as i love joel mchale... i'm so happy that this show is truly becoming an ensemble show... this cast ranks right up there with some great comedies on tv... The Office, Parks & Rec, Modern Family...

Pierce has always been this mean. We're talking about the guy who said, "TELL ME HOW TO GET THIS RELAXED OR I'LL KILL ALL YOUR FAMILIES!" The guy who ruined the trampoline haven out of spite and revealed that Chang slept with Shirley in a moment of pique over kettle corn. He's utterly self-involved, to an extent that makes Jeff look like a saint*. The group gave him a sense of belonging for a while and sated his insecurities enough for other aspects of his personality to come out, but as soon as he felt left out again? Out comes Pierce the giant douche, looking for vengeance. I can't say the group is totally blameless in his alienation - those jokes at the expense of his painkiller-induced cognition problems were mean-spirited - but really, the guy needs some therapy. :P
*There's a reason he's been painted as a terrible future version of Jeff.
Oh, and this episode was HILARIOUS. The sex scene was amazing, and there were so many great one-liners I could probably make a lengthy post just quoting those. For all his horribleness, it was Pierce who actually got everyone into the game and made it into something that could make Neil feel better (rather than the slightly condescending exercise in well-intentioned Winger manipulation it started as).
Enjoyable but not my favorite. It did bring me back to my D&D days of youth.... such good times. But I still love this show so much.
Could you imagine bouncing a check to Kunta Kinte?!

Such a great line, such a great episode. Love how they turned the show into a cinema verite mockumentary from Abed's point of view with the cuts and editing. Troy's interactions with LeVar Burton were inspired.

May I be the first to say that Joel's new hair cut is SUPER SEXY.
This was a great episode. This season just gets better and better.
This show seriously needs to pick up some Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG awards next season or AT LEAST just be nominated. It's more original than half the crap nominated every year and certainly more worthy of those statues than GLEE.
I love this show to pieces. So disappointed it did not even get an ensemble nod at the SAG Awards. Hopefully they will get writing episode nods, because I just think the episodes this season stacks up against any other comedy episode for episode. Also would love if Allison Brie (sure she would probably lose to Jane Lynch but she has had a hysterical character arch) or Donald Glover got supporting nods in addition to Joel McHale. I keep on trying to get people who were turned off from the first string episodes first season when it centered on just Jeff Winger and everybody was way too normal. I give Harmon & company credit how early they recognized that they had the talent for a great ensemble show and to just go gonzo in the writing.

I thought last week's episode was a bit of a slip-up, but this week was one of the best episodes ever. (I said that about several other episodes this season, too, but that's how well it's been going.)
"Can you imagine bouncing a check to Kunta Kinte?" Also, Britta and Jeff's role-play as each other's fathers was perfection.

Community is my favorite show on TV right now; it has the wittiest writing and the most colorful characters.
I LOVED the LeVar Burton stuff this week, Troy was so funny.

Donald Glover needs some kind of award for being the funniest crier on television. "YOU CAN'T DISAPPOINT A PICTURE!"

If there's a God, he and Joel will make out.
Yet again, maybe one of the best episodes to date.

when they made fun of GLEE i was laughing hysterically... that and the Dean and all his costumes!!! HILARIOUS!
ooh and I love the special shout out to THE CAPE... damn that show was awful.. but I loved it!! haha
I liked a few of the bits but overall i thought the execution could have been much much better. But even in its less stellar moments, I think this show is leagues above the rest.
LOVED the Dean costume bit.
Loved this episode. Made up for last week's disappointment (Sandy Ryerson guest-starring as a Who's The Boss aficionado should have been a lot funnier than it was).
