I thought Pillows and Blankets with a series high so I would say this episode is equal to it. I thought the resolution was similar in both episodes, with Abed's inability to let go in this episode mirroring his and Troy's inability to stop fighting the end of Pillows and Blankets.
And Shirley Island! My Shirley had some great lines tonight. I think MVP goes to Britta, though, because she just killed me tonight.
And, for at least this episode, Jeff was not the hero or the voice of reason.
I've already watched it thrice. One of the series' best episodes, but I wish we would have had a little more Dean in it.

I haven't laughed as hard as I did tonight since season three. Virtually everything landed. Jonathan Banks feels like he's been on the show since the beginning. I love his little thing where he can't do the fist bump properly.
The callback to Herstory of Dance was nice, and I think that's the only episode from season four that even remotely feels like non-gas leak Community.
And everyone caught the crawl on the bottom of the screen while Banks was watching the news, right?

I've spent the past couple nights watching season two. I totally forgot that Annie chloroformed the janitor!
Season 2 was the best season the show ever had or ever will have.

My heart belongs to season three, but - with the exception of the gas-leak year - I think all seasons are pretty comparable in brilliance. I really hope we get at least one more season.
If they get a sixth season, they have to do the movie. At least some format of a movie.

Some Community folks were on @Midnight with Chris Hardwick the other night.
Is it bad that I'm glad they got Gillian instead of Allison? Allison sometimes tries way too hard, ya know?

No, I get it. I LOVE Annie, but I know what you mean about Alison trying too hard.

I love how John Oliver is all over this season. It helps fill the John Olivoid left by his departure from The Daily Show.
Jordan, I actually thought of you, being a Community and a Shining fan, during that ending
I might have laughed harder when the camera started to pan to the wall than I've ever laughed at anything on this show before. And that's saying a LOT.

So much Shirley! The season gives me life.
5 MeowMeowBeanz
You certainly gave those 5 MeowMeowBeanz very quickly. Almost without thinking about it. I'm giving you 2 MeowMeowBeanz for your carelessness.
