I just can't bring myself to watch the trailer yet. Part of me doesn't want to be spoiled for this half of the season. But I'm sure I'll cave before Thursday.

It is spoilery for future storylines, Phyllis, but it was so damn epic and well-put-together I ended up not caring.

and more happy news -
Community is coming to Comedy Central!
The cable net has acquired off-network rights to the first three seasons of NBC’s underdog comedy, which — at last! — returns to the Peacock’s airwaves this Thursday at 8/7c. The Greendale Gang will debut on Comedy Central this fall.

It's here! It's here! Community Thursday!!!!
Supposedly this is the most 'normal' episode of the new block and also very meta-normal.

"I'm one of the Steppenwolf Wives!"
I'm so glad it's back. When you consider the last new episode they aired was the incomparable "Regional Holiday Music," it seems right the next episode be a little more tame.
This exchange really made me laugh.
"I have wonderful news!"
"Where were you?"
"Uh... getting wonderful news."
Was the Subway reference a dig at Chuck, perhaps? Or perhaps a cry for Subway-like sponsorship, like they did for Chuck? I'd be on board for that.
I'm a new viewer. The passionate nature of this thread made me curious. Thank you! I will be watching again.
It was a very good Britta episode.
And the time breaks of Shirley reacting to Britta's proposal was hysterical.
Britta's "This is who I am now" is a new all-time favorite line delivery.
My heart is full tonight. :)
The boyz II Men group was fantastic and:
"I've loved you since there was only one Soviet Union and one Damon Wayans."
Joel McHale looked so hot in that sweater at the end. But then again my biggest weakness is guys above 6'3" with waists smaller than mine. *sigh*

NBC’s Community returned from its too-long hiatus to a demo rating of 2.2, delivering a 46 percent increase over the comedy’s most recent outing (on Dec. 8 ) and a 14-month, non-sports time slot high for NBC.
What’s more, NBC points out that Community – with Bang Bang Theory benched by NCAA hoops — was No. 1 among Adults 18-34 and Men 18-34 during its half hour, besting even American Idol. Cool, cool, cool…
Year-over-year, Community was up 29 percent, while versus its season-to-date average it delivered a 38 percent gain.
I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season. What a triumphant return! I thought "normal" Troy and Abed were HILARIOUS.

Wow, that ratings news is wonderful! That's, like, 0.5 higher than the show needs to stay on the air on NBC, isn't it? Awesome. I hope they can sustain some of that when BBT comes back on the air.
I loved it, and was just overjoyed to finally see the gang again.
The numbers are nice but bbt is really a big piece that will cut them a lot. The NCAA tourney got lower ratings than normal, and much lower than bbt.
Still the positive buzz on the numbers is good just by itself!

Suddenly Joel McHale's increasing attempts to hide his balding make sense! (Anyone who watched him on Seattle's Almost Live! in the early 90s when he somehow had a lot less hair than now, knows what I mean). Anyway--great episode.
hilarious. Good to see Troy stand up for himself!
