The bit where he scaled the set in Kiss Me, Kate was one of two truly sparkling moments in a rather pedestrian revival (the other being Brush Up Your Shakespeare).

That was one of my favorite parts of Kiss Me Kate. He talks about it in his downstage center interview. Equity almost wouldn't let him do it.
