A friend and I were talking about this the other day. We both remember shots of from something in like an old fashioned swimsuit and robe. Does anyone else remember this? Are we totally crazy? We can't seem to find anything on google, so I thought I would check with you all!
I do. In fact, I have that photo saved on my old computer. The hard drive, unfortunately, is a bit corrupted, so I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to retrieve my stuff. But I'll see if I can dig it up online. Work is slow today anyway.
Oh please post it...if you have time!
Yes, please. Pretty please.
I'm waiting for him and Jeff to accidentally leak out a [Title of Sex Tape]
There is a video of him doing a strip tease from Broadway Bares on Dailymotion.
I thought I remembered him being in the Broadway Jockey billboard, but I guess he wasn't...
Ugh, no luck. And my old computer is completely disassembled at the moment. Maybe when the hubby is back from Afghanistan he can grab it off my hard drive.
Jordan: Especially if a non-manscaped Hunter is in it too.
In the Jockey ad, what show is the redhead, third from left, in? Updated On: 7/9/09 at 10:58 AM
Reg - I think it's Jekyll and Hyde.
I believe the redhead is Lynette Perry, who was playing Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime.
Rent, Miss Saigon, Ragtime, and Chicago. I cannot make out what the button on the jacket on the guy who is third from the right says nor what the black think that looks like a binder says in the arms of the guy on the far right.
My best guess, from left to right: Noise/Funk, Miss Saigon, Ragtime, Chicago, Smokey Joe's, Rent, and Scarlett Pimpernel.
Ragtime! I forgot about that.
Rats. Everytime I click on this thread I think "Yay, someone found and posted the picture.."

Me too, Tulita. I'm curious about this missing photo. Anyone recall where it originated? Did it accompany an article? Was it in a newspaper? A magazine? Was it an ad? Doubt that, somehow. He doesn't seem the ad type.
Well, until then? A fairly-well publicized photo of Berresse as Fred Casely in Chicago.
Anyone got anything else while we wait?
eta: Thanks for trying, circusliz. May your husband come home safe and soon. Give him a big hug and a kiss - and have him get busy on that hard drive

That aint a bad substitute, ghostlight! Thanks for posting it.
Furry, hot, toned Broadway chests are SO rarely seen.
Was that Berresse pic in In Theatre Magazine? I remember him in an article about falling in a fountain when he fell in love, or something like that, but I remember a sexy pic with it.
If it is, I might have it somewhere.

OK here's my 2 cents- I was in New York and saw the Chicago revival with the original cast (I'm saying that to give you a time frame). I THINK Berresse was on the cover of Time Out New York in some state of undress. Is that what we're thinking of?

I think you may be right, Joe, about the Time Out cover, but I don't think it's the one the OP and circusliz are talking about.
Maybe it's the one everythingtaboo is talking about in In Theater magazine. Any luck with that, everythingtaboo?
In the meantime, the above is from another photo shoot that isn't the one we're looking for.
How old was he when Chicago opened? 35 or so?

catsNYrevival,
is that Marcy Harriel's Mimi in that photo?

He was 32 when Chicago opened, Blaxx. 35 when he nightly scaled the three stories of the back wall of the set in the Martin Beck during his number "Bianca" in Kiss Me Kate eight shows a week. That bit of acrobatics was considered so dangerous that he had to convince Equity that he wasn't coerced into doing it, and his understudy wasn't allowed to do it at all.
Above, another photograph that isn't the one you're looking for. I always wondered what or who he was looking at in this one. And where he'd just come from.
eta: I think it is Marcy Harriell's Mimi, allthatjazz.
