re: Drug use

It could have been worse. At least I didn't take you down with me.

Sorry, people, carry on with your drug talk.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

re: Drug use

Xanax is always good too. re: Drug use And you only need to take half of one at a time. (Note: I did have a perscription for this, but don't take it anymore.)

Personally, I don't care if marijuana gets legalized because I won't do it myself. Anything above that probably should be.

re: Drug use

I did E once, enjoyed it too much, so I never let myself do it again. Weed never had any effect on me, it was usually the massive amounts of alocohol I consumed effecting me.

It's not for me, and I don't let it around me, but by no means can I tell someone else how to live their lives.

re: Drug use

I think that most drugs should stay illegal (E,Acid,Meth,coke...... tha harder drugs). As far as weed goes, I think that they should legalize it cause ,Regardless of wether or not they legalize it the people who smoke will still smoke. If the gov. was smart they would legalize it and then tax the hell out of it.

Weed is harmless!

re: Drug use

Methamphetamines are an interesting case and I agree that it should be illegal. It is just too dangerous.

I do not think that all prostitution should be legal or decriminalized. In the cases of trafficking and child prostitution the punishments should be severe. I think if a man forcibly rapes a child or a person forces a child into prostitution, they should face life in prison without the possibility of parole. I think castration should also be a punishment for adults who have sex with children. In countries where stealing is punishable by having a hand cut off, the incidents of theft are very rare.

When I say prostitution should be legal or decriminalized, I'm referring to adults.

While on the subject, I have also stayed in countries where hashish and absinthe were legal and I didn't find them to be a serious social problem.

re: Drug use

It is called the real world. Meth is purely evil and should be banned and vanished.

I will take a puff of pot over a cocktail any day. Booze is a lot worst for you.

who's using drugs and why are they not sharing?

I read this once, "People who take drugs don't want to live". I thought it was one of the most asinine things I had ever read.

Some time later, reading about a fatality due to recreational drugs, into my mind pops, "He just didn't want to live".

There is now a lot of chronic liver damage and failure due to alcohol in the UK. These social drinkers repeatedly ignore the medical advice given them in spades. I don't think they want to live either.

This was revealed in a conversation with my local funeral director, he gets more deaths from alcohol than drugs, that for some reason really surprised me.
The great thing with human brains is they're fanless, nice and quiet although I'm sure mine whistles a bit sometimes.

From 95'-00' I think I did/tried just about every drug out there. It was part of turning 18 and discovering the gay club/rave scene of Florida. To be honest it was a blast and a period of time I will always look back with fond memories, that is of course the ones I can remember. I wouldn't recommend this course of action for anyone, and I'm lucky I didn't get hurt or OD.
Now that I'm older I'll stick to an occasional J, which should be legal and sold like cigarettes, or coffee shops etc.

Whatever happened to mushrooms? Is the fact that they are impossible to get a side effect of global warming??

Plus, they're good for you!

who's using drugs and why are they not sharing?

Reading this thread makes me think that maybe my true calling is not the performing arts, musician, dancer, writer, singer.... but to be the dictator of some small country of about 10 - 30 million people. I looked in the help wanted ads, but have not seen any listings. Does anyone know where I can apply for that kind of job?

Maybe I'll write 'ol Ryho Lukashenko and ask if he'll give me Belarus when he retires. I could put that country on the right track.

I'm pretty sure I had a pot brownie while sleeping overnight for Rent tickets back in the day. I guess I should have assumed it was tainted, but it just didn't cross my mind. All I did was pass out for a few hours.

I get phone calls from Dad telling me to smoke more pot. I enjoy it on occasion, and the fact of the matter is, it is the only time that I can ever be truly relaxed and even my doctor thinks it's good for me to not be so high strung every so often.
