I love Abby. Love her. Chen and Pratt need to go and I can't say I will be sorry to see the back of Alex Kingston either.

I love the way she is with patients, for one thing. And the way she handled the whole thing with her mother and brother. She's a tough broad with a heart as big as the ocean. The whole Carter mess was annoying, I will grant you that.

I love Abby, too. She is my favorite character on the show, and for the very reasons that Pop mentioned.

I absolutely HATE Carter.

You hardly see Carrie anymore.

Well, I have to admit that it was a well acted scene when they lost the baby, but I hate everything about Carter.

His looks, his voice, his silver-spoonedness, YEECHH!!!!

Some other actor could have taken that "baby's death" scene into the stratosphere! He's just way too baby-faced.

I don't know...If you like him, I am sorry for being harsh, but something about him gives me the creeps - kind of like nails on a chalkboard.

The common element between ER and The West Wing is not Tommy Schlamme, it's John Wells, exec. producer.

After being a fan of ER from the beginning, I left for Without a Trace and never looked back. You should all do the same. :)

I like Maura Tierny because she seems like a real woman.

My other favorite is Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls)

SO when the tow of them were in the head to head championship for Celebrity Poker Showdown I thoguht to myself, "Television doesn't get any better than this"

Are they on at the same time or something? Otherwise couldn't you just watch both?

The other night there was an er rerun on (local channel) and it was the episode "Love's labor lost" from season one.

It's the one where Dr. Greene does the emergency C-section and the mother dies.

There is a 20 minute steady cam shot in the middle of the episode.

That episdoe alone won five Emmys.

I thought to myself "this is when er didn't suck."

I haven't watched any of this season's episodes. I got turned off last year. It used to be a good show....but, they should have quit while they were ahead.

Yes, Without a Trace is also on at 10 on Thursdays. And of course I could watch both by taping one but I lost interest in ER.
