Lost got nominated best drama...
In fact, the only Lost noms I'm mad about are the missing one for writing for The Constant (there was simply not a better hour of television all year) and for Elizabeth Mitchell for supporting actress. Cusack should have been nominated for supporting actor as well, but Emerson's nod was good enough - he absolutely deserves the win!
I'm also happy about all the Pushing Daisies love, though I can't for the life of me figure out how 2/1/2 Men gets the best comedy slot over it! Go Kristin! Chi Mcbride was shut out of supporting actor (again, Jon Cryer, really?) but with Rainn Wilson, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon, and Neil Patrick Harris nominated, I'm pretty much going to be happy (unless Cryer wins which would be just ridiculous).

Lonny Price is nominated for directing "Company" for television. It's also up for editing.
Elaine Stritch is up for guest actress in a comedy series (30 Rock). Robert Morse for Mad Men.
Phylicia Rashad and Audra McDonald are nominated for Raisin in the Sun.
Kathy Griffin's D List is nominated against Antiques Roadshow (that made me laugh) for best reality show.
Neal Patrick Harris and Kristin Chenoweth are nominated for supporting actor & actress in a comedy series.

OY! I'll leave my mistake so people will know what you're referring to jason.
But, let me mention that the link I posted in the 3rd post is the correct year.

Congratulations to Kristin!
Well-deserved!
Also, I'm happy Phylicia Rashad was remembered. She was brilliant and heart-breaking in A Raisin in the Sun. I hope she beats Linney, to be honest.

I wish Judith Light had been nominated for UGLY BETTY. I also hoped Yunjin Kim would get a nod for LOST.
Thrilled for Phylicia Rashad! Magnificent performance. I hope she has an Emmy to put alongside her Tony.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 10:58amTraditionally, variety performers (including sketch show performers) have been nominated seperatly from the supporting comedy category. Why didn't Poehler get nominated alongside Fey for SNL?

Posted: 7/17/08 at 11:04amUgh Two and a Half Men? I've tried to watch this show, but I just don't see it. I'm still amazed it's the highest rated comedy.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 11:17amNow I can say Congrats to Amy Poehler for a well deserved nod!

but...is she in the correct category? SNL performers from Chevy Chase to now have always been in the "Variety peformance" category, not "supporting actor/actress in a comedy".
Love her, and she deserves recognition, but wondering why they changed the rules...especially when Fey was nominated in the variety category.
