I never liked this toy as a kid. Nothing ever came out looking right, and I still can't draw curves on the thing.

That being said, these people appaently disagree.
Cool hobby, or too much time on their hands?

I can't even imagine how he did that. I agree with Tazber on this- nothing ever came out right for me either on Etch-a-sketch!

Etch-A-Sketch is awesome.

Some people spend a little too long perfecting their Etch-A-Sketch skills, and...other people are Broadway Legends on BroadwayWorld. Doesn't seem the right place to question the validity of a harmless hobby, especially when the hobby does require a talent of sorts.

I think it's fantastic. Did you go to the link showing the other pages? Towards the back are a huge number that were done on those little travel Etch-a-sketches.
