Gee, they should lighten up, huh goth? Obamacare deathpanel!
Reminds me of The Apprentice when Omarosa said something insulting to Ereka and she responded, "Well, that's just the pot calling the kettle black." Omarosa said, "What was that racist thing you just said to me?!" Really? She also accused Ereka of calling her the N word, yet there was no video or audio of the incident.

Neither in word nor deed does either of these phrases appeal to me.

That's as bad as the county commissioner in Texas last year who insisted that the terms "black hole," "angel food cake," and "devil's food cake" are all racially insensitive.
what about "articulate"?

Does anyone even have black pots and kettles anymore? Ours are more a sort of steely grey. O_o

Our kettle isn't black, and she never uses disparaging terms to others.
My pot looks nothing yours, but it's not racist either.

That was just insanity. Everyone knows devils are red rather than black.
Now I want red velvet cake.
"For example, in the context of being above suspicion, the phrase 'whiter than white' is often used. Purer than pure or cleaner than clean are alternatives which do not infer that anything other than white should be regarded with suspicion."
I'd suggest they focus on the meaning of the word "infer" before branching out into other areas of language policing.
