My friend Steve is the world's best shopping buddy. Too bad he already has a boyfriend. He's actually dating a "hot chorus boy" (sigh) that was in something with Lesley Ann Warren a few years back. I forget the title. "Dream" something, maybe.

You don't know what it's like for a gay man to be hounded by Corine who was constantly inviting him to join her for a glass of wine. That wouldn't have mattered, but her taste runs to Gypsy Rose, Firebird and Pear Ripple. Heaven forfend!

No we don't. We want straight boyfriends who are fun.
But alas, a difficult thing to find in NYC.
Gay men do make the best girlfriends though.

An example:
I took my ex boyfriend to see Laugh Whore and he did not get it.
Every other thing he asked me to explain. I wanted to shoot him.

While hanging out with my straight women friends at Marie's on New Years Eve we figured out that gay bars are to straight women what strip clubs are to straight guys. At a gay bar a woman can, in a non-threatening environment, have guys fuss all over them and playfully touch their goodies while keeping it all in fun. And they don't have to pay for it!
