... this is nothing short of tremendous.
Y'never know...
I remember after seeing a performance of DANCE OF DEATH in 2001, I was talking with the radiant Helen Mirren (seemed everyone there was just waiting for Ian McKellen since Lord of the Rings had just come out) and there was a man standing there with a LOTR toy (not Gandalf) and she rolled her eyes and laughed at it.
Anyways, when Ian came out the man handed it to him and asked him to sign. He looked at it, signed it and said "This is going to go for a lot on eBay. Especially since it's not me. Have a good night". I thought it was hilarious!
They should have handed Helen a Barbie-as-Queen-Elizabeth for her to sign, too.
Maybe the Jack pic is real, who knows? I just thought it was hilarious either way. That look on Jack's face is priceless.
Well ... actually it does come with a price tag. About $20 million a movie.
Did anyone notice the picture the guy wanted signed was with Heath Ledger as the joker?
I think that was the point of the thread, Roxy?

Having had the unfortunate displeasure of spending time in Jack's presense, it wouldn't surprise me AT ALL if the pic were real.
And I can't stop laughing either - Roxy, you really are something else!
Poor Roxy!
Q, I had a different experience being in the presence of Nicholson. I was working on the film As Good as it Gets. All of a sudden Jack entered the set. I looked at this man and knew and felt I was in the company of greatness. This is a corny thing for me to say but it's true. Everyone on that set froze in awe. It was just the way he was walking down the middle of the road, head held high, beaming and grinning at everyone - I'll never forget that moment~

Jane - I don't doubt it a bit. The only thing I would add from MY experience is that HE also felt he was 'in the company of greatness'
Q, haha! I guess that's so. But I gotta say, I'll give him a pass because I believe some people who REALLY got it, can flaunt it and I don't mind. They've got what to back it up with. But that's just me.
