re: FED UP!

Okay, EugLoven, I'll bite.

#1 is typewriter.

I'll have to really think about the others. Give me time.

re: FED UP!

What word in the English language has 3 pairs(meaning each pair is two identical letters) of letters in a row? I will give you the hint that it is an occupation.

re: FED UP!

I want to say "eight" for #2, but g and h come before i. I'll keep pondering.

BOOKKEEPER
Which, if we really want to have some fun, can be extended to SUBBOOKKEEPER

I stand corrected on my own question:
There are OTHER WORDS BESIDES TYPEWRITER that can be typed on the top row: Pepperroot, pepperwort, pewterwort, pirouetter, prerequire, pretorture, proprietor, repertoire, repetitory, tetterwort, and typewriter, each ten letters long, are the longest English words that can be typed using only those letters in the top row of a typewriter.

There's a whole slew of these things at this site:

Guys! Can we get back to the point of this thread! Ruprecht88 is FED UP and we need to do something about it! If he leaves because of this I'll be crying for days, what with the closing of Shoshana Bean's fansite and all!

"(MEDIUM LEVEL) What's the only number spelled in alphabetical order?
(HARDER LEVEL) What's the only US state capital that doesn't share any letters with its state's name? "

Medium - forty

Harder - South Dakota? (Pierre)

re: FED UP!

I have a similar experience. I posted a thread about how much I loved Bright Lights Big City the cd and I went to see the production in Philly...and I got seriously attacked on it. People saying that I didn't know what i was talking about, that I should go into the Rent hole I came from.... To this day, the same person who attacked me on that board finds every single post I make and he replies to them in a nasty way specifically calling me out. There are some real nasty people on here that don't respect opinions. I could mention who this is, but he knows. You'll see him post the next thread after me...
I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. I just know I want to be wherever I can wake and see you there next to me. **High Fidelity** Love is what I do **The Wedding Singer** Xanadu - Best NEW Musical of the Season!

re: FED UP!

Okay, I'm posting after RentHead2, but it's not me lol.

Anyways, why do people lurk on the boards, then join JUST to stir something up? It only adds to more problems.

Most of the time people get "attacked" is because they often post something that has been discussed to death already or say something stupid that of course people are going to argue with (ex: JesusUnlimited).

You have to understand that everyone has their own opinion. People disagree in life, and responses to other people's opinion aren't always going to be positive.

If it was one post that bothered you, perhaps you should've expressed your concerns via PM to the poster? Also, if you aren't a "newb at this by far," you should've known that posts exactly like yours have been made before, and nothing is ever going to really change. Sure, people can try to be a little more welcoming and nicer, but there's always going to be a negative response to something.

People have to remember that this is just a message board. If you can't handle negativity here, then how are you going to handle it in real life?

I guess it's the way the posters teach you to grow up quickly.

"You accused her of knowing a few select popular shows"

I think some people here should remember that one has to start somewhere! If someone has seen only a couple of popular shows SO FAR, that doesn't mean she/he doesn't have a right to write on this board. Those few shows she/he has seen so far are what got the person interested in the musical theatre and Broadway, so... Everyone of us has been in the same situation at some point.

As far as I know there are no "you have to know these shows and must have seen these shows to join" requirement.
