I already have things popping up on my FB wall claiming that Hollywood is being used as a tool against "good Christian citizens of America"
I asked the person who posted that why she watching the Academy Awards if she was such a good Christian. My comment was deleted...after 13 likes.

It seems like the FLOTUS is going to enjoy the next four years, unfettered by fears of an appearance which may offend a given sector of voters--"Un-employed autworkers don't want to see the First Lady dressed up and handing out awards to movie stars" etc.

God Bless her--I absolutely adore her and hope she has the freaking time of her life!

It does feel a little weird that the 'feel-good' movie that has the CIA as the good guys gets announced by the First Lady. Just a little.

I feel she could rethink the bangs, but her dress was one of the best of the night. I loved the art deco allusion.

Her husband has been elected president twice, both times by significant margins.

It's past time the mouth-breathers get used to it.

Michelle comes across as one of the most approachable and down to earth First Ladies I think I have ever seen. It is nice to hear from people who I know who have met her and even "partied " with her at one of the inaugural balls, that she is in fact as she appears.
