I know it has been posted before, but I cannot find it. So, what fanous people are from your city. I would have been a part of the forst thread that was made, but I was not a member.

HEATHER HEADLEY is from my town of Fort Wayne Indiana. I am very proud of that. Cole Porter was from Peru Indiana to, but I do not live there.

OK, so who is from you town that is famous.

Marilyn Manson and Macy Gray both hail from right here in good old Canton, Ohio. One of the boy band boys -- Timmons I think (?) -- also.

Unlike most people around here, I don't claim to have gone to school with any of them.

HEATHER HEADLEY wnet to one of our not so good high schools, but my mom met her before she ever got to Broadway.

One of her favorite teachers from the school (Northrop) who encouraged her got a big surprise from her. When she got into THE LION KING she called up the teacher and told him she had a big surprise for him and told him to come to New York. he did, and she had a front row ticket to the opening night of The Lion King.

My cousin went to school with her. I wish I met her. Darn.

Maybe she will come back and visit her town and have a concert or something. I wish.

How could I forget - George Plimpton! I had the privilege of meeting him the summer before he passed away (I was working for a friend of his) and it was fun to talk about our little tiny town that no one knows...his family actually founded it in 1725.

Julia Roberts graduated from a high school very close to me. And Sutton and Hunter Foster lived near me for a while.

For a while John and Yoko lived in the hamlet of Brookhaven (a neighboring town)

Isabella Rosellini lives on the road behind mine.

Several summers ago Glenn Close rented a house in Bellport. She used to do her grocery shopping wearing hair curlers. Not a pretty sight.

The Minnelli Deli is around the corner.

Erika Harold(2003 Miss America) is from my town. A bunch of famous people including Donald O'Conner came from a town very near me.

And I just found out today that Ana Gasteyer's brother is my neighbor. Not really on topic, I just thought that was cool.
