President Dwight D Eisenhower (He was born in Denison, TX, but was raised in Abilene, KS)
(I thought Sam Rayburn was from Bonham, TX, but looking at Wiki, it says he was from Bonham, TX. He was born in Tennessee. I'm not sure how that works.)

Heck yeah, John Wilkes Booth and Edwin Booth were both born and raised in Bel Air, MD. Their house is still standing.

More than I can name are from New Jersey originally. Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Douglas, Danny DeVito, Paul Simon, Queen Latifah, Nathan Lane...just to name a few. 
I don't know if anyone really that famous is originally from my hometown, but several celebrities own homes in my town and the surrounding areas.
