He was trying to get in to someone's house to steal food, but alas, he was just toooo big. The picture accompanying this story is cute beyond words. The cat is a friggin' 20 lbs!!
My cat is very fat, but her head is still tiny... not this thing!

Oh my.....awww, but it's cute!
That cat is adorable! But yes, that is one very chubby kitty. That's what my cat's gonna look like pretty soon if he doesn't stop eating right out of his food bag.
"And come to the door with the belly. He was stuck!" she said.

CURVES for kitties
if the kitty needs a home i'll take it!
i used to have a fat kitty. i miss him. my new kitty is skinny.
The story says that cat is 20 lbs. There's no way. My cat is 23 lbs. and he's not that big...
That's exactly what I was thinking; no way he could be 20 lbs!
I have a big cat, he's not fat, just a big tom cat and last time he was weighed he came in at 19lbs. He's only gotten bigger since
My Luke doesn't look like anything close to that huge kitty!
Still cute though. :)

Aw, he's adorable. My best friend's massive cat weighs 20 pounds, though, and doesn't even look that big. That cat has to be the size of one of my dogs.
Shoot.. my cat is 30lbs and I'm not kidding. His head is kinda small, my friends call him a Manatee
That little kitty looks like an ad for Weight Watchers when compared to these big bad cats:
At first they make you laugh until you realize that carrying around all that weight will give these guys arthritis and eventually kidney failure. It's really awfully sad because they didn't get that way on their own!
Well...the first two are probably real, but the third one is a hoax. It's been debunked on Snopes.
Anyway: I thought my Bucky was fat. Shoot, he's nowhere as big as the Oregon cat! I feel a little better now.
I had a friend who had a cat as big as that first one. She called him "Sherman". That wasn't his name - she just called him that because he was as big as a Sherman tank. He didn't live very long.
People who let their animals get that fat should be fined or jailed or something. It's awful.
the poor lil kitty! when I was Patches' mom, I really had to get her into shape as well--she'd eat as much as i'd let her eat...
Oye Munk, I have done everything my vet said to do. My cat does not live outside, but is on a strict diet and does get exercise. We have two cats brother and sister. The male weighs 30lbs and the female 10lbs (7 years old). They do not eat table scraps and are not given treats. The only food is diet and if anything he has gained weight. Both are still very active and he is in perfect health.
Bucky is getting to be a tub. I forget how much he weighs, but it's too much. How exactly do you get a cat to lose weight? Right now we've limited their access to the food bowls, but Bucky's not getting thinner.
I cut her portions to 1/4-1/3 cup of cat food twice a day--she wasn't very active and also got a few treats at night. Then I'd vary it and increase once she had gotten to a better weight.
I have a brother and sister from the same litter...she's 11 lbs and he's 21...She needs special food due to a chronic illness and he is on diet food...both Prescriptions brand. It's a pain to keep the food straight, and police the situation.
But they are the best kids in the world...he'd would let you scratch his belly all day.
No, I'm not talking about those that are responsible owners whose cats just happen to be large. I'm talking about those that just feed their pets anything. It wasn't directed at anyone at all.
My cat's name is Bucky too...he looks like a beaver though.

Aww - the kitty's cute, if not chubby! I would totally take him home.
My tabby is a little zaftig - 14 lbs. while my other cat is a slim 9 lbs. We've tried everything the vet said to get 14 to lose weight. She plays constantly - runs up and down, up and down the stairs all day, gets lots of exercise (as much as she can for an indoor girl). She eats weight management food in controlled amounts. She doesn't care for table food at all. Only wants a treat in the evening. Her weight will not budge.
Now, the 9-lb eats MORE than the 14-lb. And will beg, beg, beg for treats and table scraps (and we often indulge her). She's slim as can be. I don't get it!
