Some of my favorite shows lasted 1 season. This is my list
1. The Green Hornet
2. The Time Tunnel
3. The Flash
4. East Side / West Side
5. The Street
Didn't 'The Flash' get into a second season?
Square Pegs. The Colbys!
Freaks and Geeks. I only think it got 18 episodes.

"My So-Called Life" w/ Claire Danes. Best show, ever. Luckily the entire series has been available on DVD for over a year now. Damn you Santa for not bringing it!

American Gothic --I LOVED that show with Gary Cole. I just wish it could have gone on a bit. I wanted to know what the sheriff really was.

I remember Best of the West
It was way ahead of it's time . Another 1 season wonder ( really 1/4 season as it only played 6 epidoses ) was "Police Squad " which spawned The Naked Gun movies. The opening was a hoot as part of it had someone shooting Abe Lincoln, hitting his stovepipe hat instead & old Abe whipping out a gun & firing back. A classic that deserves to be on DVD as the VHS is long since out of circulation.
My So-Called Life and Greg the Bunny

>Bette
>My Big Fat Greek Life (it could have done well if they didn't try SO hard)
>Freaks and Geeks
>Kristin (lol shut up
I'm a Kristin Chenoweth fan)
I loved Police Academy! I had all 6 episodes on VHS. I wish they would release them on DVD.
Also enjoyed Good and Evil with Teri Garr (first time I ever heard the word "bitch" on TV) and High Society with Jean Smart and Mary McDonnell (not as good as AbFab, but still fun to watch).
Birds of Prey. That was only, like, half a season, though. 13 episodes and WB dumped it like a bad boyfriend. *sigh*
Cover-Up (1984) with Jon-Erik Hexum and Jennifer O'Neill
I agree with Freaks and Geeks. That show rocked my geeky world.
I really liked the Oliver Platt, Bebe Neuwirth "Deadline" but that didn't even make it for a whole season.
I also resent that Boston Public was moved to Friday nights... because that is TV death.
I just thought of another .
The Magician with Bill Bixby
