"Jay and Silent Bob Go Canadian Eh?" as part of their stint on Degrassi... that and the future Degrassi Movie that Kevin is going to direct.

but for real... I love all his films.

I am telling you, wait 'til you see Clerks 2. The entire cast is great. Rosario fits right in.

Hehe, Mewes has a whole Jim Carrey Dumb and Dumber look going on...
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Clerks, easily. That part about independent contractors on the Death Star totally blew my mind the first time I saw it.

Although I must give out a great deal of love to Mallrats. I just utterly adore that film!

I must be the only person who didn't like Chasing Amy--I didn't even finish it.

Oh yeah. Jason Lee is great in Mallrats. I may the only person in the world who likes Mallrats more than Clerks.

Gasp! Really, Kitz? I am really surprised about that.

I constantly use Banky's "I feel a hate crime coming on" line, but this is the best exchange:

re: Favorite Kevin Smith Film

Banky: Alright, now see this? This is a four-way road, OK? And dead in the center is a crisp, new, hundred dollar bill. Now, at the end of each of these streets are four people, OK? Are you following?
Holden: Yeah.
Banky: Good. Over here, we have a male-affectionate, easy to get along with, non-political agenda lesbian. Down here, we have a man-hating, angry as f**k, agenda of rage, bitter dyke. Over here, we got Santa Claus, and up here the Easter Bunny. Which one is going to get to the hundred dollar bill first?
Holden: What is this supposed to prove?
Banky: No, I'm serious. This is a serious exercise. It's like an SAT question. Which one is going to get to the hundred dollar bill first? The male-friendly lesbian, the man-hating dyke, Santa Claus, or the Easter bunny?
Holden: The man-hating dyke.
Banky: Good. Why?
Holden: I don't know.
Banky: Because the other three are figments of your f**king imagination!

I hope you all have seen "An Evening with Kevin Smith" - a compilation of his college campus question-and-answer appearances, sometimes with Jason Mewes as special guest. The story of how he conned Ben Affleck into doing Jersey Girl for like no money, and thd the story of how he met his wife, and their first sexual encounter, are priceless.

Everything that comes out of the man's mouth is funny. He talked about wanting to go to a bear bar with Mewes and act like a couple. He said he wants to see if all the dudes really hit on him. He's every bit as nice as he seems and he sent me a PM this morning. I am a bigger fan than I was before.

Clerks

Kitz, a kid in my English class was reciting that today.
Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

re: Favorite Kevin Smith Film

Clerks, absolutely. Especially having been a convenience store clerk at one point. It's brilliant.

re: Favorite Kevin Smith Film

I acctually went to one of Kevin Smith's campus talks and had pizza and went to a movie with him (and about 300 other people) the next day. He paid for all that could fit into a theatre to see Affleck's movie Changing Lanes. The movie was kind of crappy, but being there with Kevin was great. I have a picture with him but I look like crap it in so it will not be posted lol.

I was at the Kent State show on the Kevin Smith DVD. It was really funny but really looooooooooooong. That Prince story is actually the shortened version. It was a good hour long in person.

re: Favorite Kevin Smith Film

My friend asked me if I wanted to be in one of the shots with Kevin. I happily declined...lol. I ruin any pic.
