When my brother got his hand caught in the garbage disposal and couldn't get it out. We all (my other brothers and I) stood around, laughing and reaching out to turn it on. He nearly wet himself from worry like 30 times. It was hilarious, I haven't laughed that hard in years!
...sounds mean, now that I type it out, heh. It's not like we really would have turned it on. But it was nice to scare him with it. He knows what a terror he is, so us getting a chance to have "revenge" on him obviously worried him. He's still a terror, but it's funny to see him jump a little everytime the disposal is on.

The lights of Manila as my plane flew over them on the way to Warsaw.
One door in my life was closing, a new window was opening, and it was just such a beautiful way to enjoy it...

Mine was being surprised by the bf on Valentine's Day--he did a great job keeping it a secret and we tore up that hotel room; sorry Ritz Carlton!
In a theatre, it's a toss-up between The Pillowman and Sweeney Todd.

I posted this on the other board, but this is probably a better place for it.
My most memorable moment was at the end of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels when Greg Jbara came out, made his bow, and then walked over and waved to me from the stage. I hadn't met him before and didn't tell him where I was sitting - still he'd found it out and waved to me. He then gave me an incredible back stage tour that I'll never forget.
Thank you Greg for making 2005 so memorable for me!

I've been thinking about this all day, and as usual, I can't choose just one.
In no particular order:
- The BWW picnic in Central Park this Summer
- The Brilliant Mistake benefit concert, The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, and Standing Ovations Four
- AIDA's final performance, in all of its bittersweetness
- The night of my first Rent movie viewing
- one hell of a conversation with someone very special in a coffee shop in the Village
- Standing on a Broadway stage
- Watching two nights of shooting for the Rent movie
- ALL of the first-time meetings I've been lucky enough to have with BWW members this year, with a specific note to insomniak, because we wanted it to happen for so, so long. The time I spend with my friends from this board... none of you will ever know how much it means to me; those times are not only some of the happiest memories of 2005, but of my entire short life.

Easy: this fall I fulfilled my lifelong dream of seeing Europe. I visited all the places I had wanted to see -- Paris, London, Venice, Florence, the French Riviera, Amsterdam, etc. -- and it was such a memorable adventure to do it the ol' student backpacking way, jumping on trains and staying in funky youth hostels. I was in heaven for the entire trip: I don't think I'd ever felt happier.
Some of my pictures! (I love showing them off.)
