I'm praying that this time next year I'll be able to say Sweeney Todd.
I'm sure he'll do it justice, I just really hope it doesn't **** it up.
Right now, though, I'd have to say Beetlejuice.
The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.

Sleepy Hollow, for sure....incredible art direction on that one. Christina Ricci's accent is horrendous, though!
I know a lot of people hated this one, but I actually enjoyed Mars Attacks! quite a bit because of its weird retro vibe and the great cast: Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Michael J Fox, Martin Short, Natalie Portman, Sylvia Sidney, Rod Steiger, Sarah Jessica Parker, Pierce Brosnan, Danny De Vito, Pam Grier, Annette Bening....just to name a few.

Big Fish, it's my favorite movie of all time.
Behind that would be Ed Wood.

Edward Scissorhands is by far my favorite. I would love to see the ballet.
Then:
Beetlejuice
Ed Wood
Batman and Batman Returns
Pee Wee's Big Adventure
Mars Attacks

I'm surprised no one mentioned Sleepy Hollow. Unless everyone thought it was crap. but it;s my favorite out of the ones I have seen.
Sleepy Hollow is one of my favorite movies, sad, I know, but true. I had a really bad stage where I watched it a few times a week. Those days are gone, but I watch it every once and a while.

I wonder if I should list the one's I wasn't as fond of?
-- I think his weakest was Sleepy Hollow and even that was not too bad. I am of the opinion that Tim Burton, Jim Sheridan, and the Cohen's on bad days are better than most of the junk pumped out of Hollywood, there are a number of other directors I like but they are my go to people.
