"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

I was actually really pleasantly surprised when I tried Ethiopian food over break (and I'm a fairly picky eater). I also love Indian.

I forgot Gnocci with Gorgonzola and walnut sauce. Malatesta Trattoria in the West Village in NYC does it beautifully.
***I've heard great things about Ethiopian (esp. the injera (sp?) bread). Have yet to try it.

The injera bread is really good, Love4Cheno. The spongy texture took me a little bit to get used to, but the food that comes on it is delicious.

Planet Thailand in Brooklyn. It's a fusion restaurant in an old converted warehouse. Very very cool. One of my favorite places! :)

In addition to my general love of Italian food, I highly recommend SuRa (a Korean restaurant in the East Village) - excellent bibimbob, seafood pajon, kimchi stew, all the good stuff.

I love anything Asian.
1. Japanese- Sushi Favorite(Nobu)(Miyako the one I can afford daily) (City Crab makes excellent Spicy Shrimp rolls)
2. Chinese- (Shun Lee)(The Cottage Union Square, The one I can afford daily)
3. Korean (Korean Palace)
4. Thai (So many)
5. Vietnamese (Saigon Grill)
If I could eat these each and every meal I would.
Even my salads are Asian style:
Ginger dressing. Snowpeas. Waterchestnuts. Grilled shrimp.
YUM.

For real Elphaba!
When I went to visit my Aunt and Uncle in Daytona, Dr. Brown's was in the ethnic section of the Publix.

Indian food is my favorite, hands down. Lamb, chicken, shrimp...anything cooked in the tandoor and I'll eat it. And I love the vegetarian dishes like eggplant and spinach. I refuse to eat those veggies any other way. Yum.
