I love the World Happiness Dance episode, and also the series Finale, with its heartbreaking "cliffhanger."

I would need to watch them all again to be really sure. I haven't seen the show in forever and of course I hemmed and hawed about buying the box set and now I'm kicking myself.

I hesitated for a bit before buying the DVDs. When I saw that the box said "Special Markets" I realised that it would be limited production, so i picked up the set.

I'm sure it's available on Amazon or ebay.

Oh it is. But it's in the hundreds of dollars area for an original copy. Not gonna happen.

Whoa you're right. I just checked and it's about $250 for the complete set. And I was sore forking over $60 when I bought it.

My favorite episode is the one where Patty and Graham go away for the weekend and leave the house to Angela and Danielle. It basically ends up being a slumber party for the entire block when Rayanne uses Patty and Graham's handcuffs to chain herself to their bed. And of course, there's no key.

I bought the DVD set when it first came out several years ago. Before that I had the VHS tapes that were released with a few episodes on them. My So-Called Life was a truly good and well written show that was never given a chance to grow.

Seriously, I love all of them, but my favorite is when she spends the episode making out with Jordan Catalano in the boiler room, but he keeps her hidden from his friends...then they go see Buffalo Tom and he ignores her...but at the end, he grabs her hand in the hallway. I literally screamed at that moment.

Oh I loved that moment also, when he took her hand in the hallway!

Also love the Christmas episode, although Juliana Hatfield as the Angel was pretty unwatchable.

As good as Claire Danes and the rest of the cast were, Bess Armstrong (as Patty) just made the show for me.

I love that scene at the end of the Christmas episode when Patty finds Ricky in the church (their hug just breaks my heart).

My favorite is the one where Angela is in a really bad mood and is all angsty, and Ricky tries to cheer her up by being the quirky funny gay guy, but gets his ass beat instead, and then we find out that Rayann has been found passed out drunk in someone's basement.

I really like the New Year's resolutions episode where Ricky thinks Angela's family is sick of him, so he lies and says his aunt and uncle want him back. Then, he has nowhere to go and eventually rooms with his teacher who doesn't want him to know he's gay. Ah, what a great show. I still stay up until 2 am to watch it on the N.

I guess I'm the voice of dissent here. I never really enjoyed this show. I tried to, but I just didn't. I guess my life wasn't angsty enough for me to identify. Plus, the characters were all so self-centered that I couldn't really handle them. Oh well.

I love this show! I was only 9 when it was on TV and my parents would have never let me watch it, so my friend would tape it for me and I would go over to her house the next day. I finally bought the DVDs off eBay a few months ago. It was this "Buy it now" for like 30 import copies, so I snatched it up. But this was after literally years of searching.

My favorite was the same as StageWhore's, where Ricky goes to live with their English teacher. After Ricky had just been tossed back and forth all season, he now had a home where he finally fit.

When Jordan takes Angela to that place (hey, I don't remember the details) and wants her to have sex with him. Episodes like that are always good.
