Feel good about lunch!

No, silly, not by eating a salad. By dumping the entire KFC menu into a pile and eating it all at once!
I've always hated the phrase: "I just threw up in my mouth a little." But here -- it really fits. This is just vulgar. I've asked it before: Why do people think mixing any two foods together is automatically a good idea?
Just eww

Wow, that looks quite unhealthy. Who looks at that and decides that "yum" "I'll clog my heart today!"

Given what Rath will shovel in her mouth, I just know I won't look at that link if she's grossed out.

And how I wish I didn't.
But, speaking of lunch, I'm off to try buying one of these bowls and seeing if a homeless guy will eat it.
Experiment results at 2pm EST, folks.

I do tend to mix my food and even I wouldn't go that far.
And does fried chicken really need grated cheese?
re: Feel good about lunch!#7

I don't get the cheese. Add some mac and I'm all over it though.
re: Feel good about lunch!#8
Posted: 5/31/06 at 11:52amI suspect the concept of "it's all going to the same place" is at play here.
re: Feel good about lunch!#9
Posted: 5/31/06 at 11:55amI've always mixed my mashed potatos and corn. It's easier to get the corn that way.

There's something to be said about presentation of one's meal...
There's nothing to be said about that here...
re: Feel good about lunch!#11
Posted: 5/31/06 at 11:56amThat whole concept just grosses me out. Even if I ate chicken I wouldn't touch that gunk. And why is the cheese necessary?
re: Feel good about lunch!#12

It's a topping.
(No, we don't put cheese on it. But I do like cheese on my mashed potatos.)

I'm actually surprised they didn't come out with this earlier.
You obviously aren't from the South. What's southern food without gravy?
re: Feel good about lunch!#16
Posted: 5/31/06 at 1:44pmYes, but Fiction, I'm from the south as well and down here we don't mix gravy and cheese. It's nasty.

I bet you do!
Do you put cheese on a pasta, with a meat sauce? Technically, a gavy is just a suace with meat in it.
re: Feel good about lunch!#18
Posted: 5/31/06 at 1:49pmperhaps you need to try it first before you judge. I've had them, and I love them
re: Feel good about lunch!#19
Posted: 5/31/06 at 1:55pmIt's all you need in one bowl. Taco Bell fiesta bowls are good too.

Posted: 5/31/06 at 1:59pmok, i saw these advertised and thought, man, except for the cheese it's like holiday aftermath. i love holiday aftermath! taking the turkey or chicken or even meat loaf or roast, mix it up with some mashed taters and gravy, throw in some corn and, if you've got it, stuffing and nuke that sh*t. i'm hungry just thinking about it.

Posted: 5/31/06 at 2:00pmOh, papa, my brother-in-law eats that. I couldn't look at the plate when he did. Except it was mashed yams, not white potatoes.

Posted: 5/31/06 at 2:01pmI'm so with ya Papa. I just don't get the three cheeses part. I will have to give it a try.

Posted: 5/31/06 at 2:03pmIt does seem a little un-apetizing, but it's actually pretty good. Yes it's also like a heart attack in a bowl, but who doesn't love fattening foods once in a while.
