My niece is asleep, anxious about the morning, and we spend the last few hours putting stuff together. So much fun, I haven't spent an evening preparing Xmas for a child in a long time.

Totally a holiday for the kids. My niece got so many cool presents... it makes such a difference having a child to have Xmas with. This is the first year that she really understands what's going on, and it's been so much fun. From the anticipation last night of her going to bed, and waking up every few hours wondering if Santa came, to watching her come down the stairs this morning and seeing all the presents under the tree.
